Footage released after the game shows the Porto attacker punching the Denmark international in the back. Bah reacted immediately, and Samu faced no disciplinary sanction during the match.

In light of the images, Benfica have taken the matter to the disciplinary bodies. The club argues there are grounds for retrospective intervention over the clássico flashpoint.

The Dragão clash was marked by several contentious moments and drew criticism from Benfica, particularly regarding the officiating. André Villas-Boas responded last week, downplaying the complaints from the Luz club.
