Benfica have released footage that they say could clear Prestianni of racism allegations made by Vinícius Júnior during the first leg of the Champions League play-off on Tuesday 17 at Estádio da Luz.
Record writes that, under UEFA's Disciplinary Regulations, a proven racist insult carries a minimum 10-game suspension.
The video shows the pair crossing paths, then Vinícius immediately running to the referee to complain.
It follows Real Madrid's goal on 50 minutes. For the restart, Vinícius stands outside the centre circle as Prestianni covers his mouth and allegedly speaks to the Brazil international. Most Madrid players are inside the circle.
An accompanying post on X argues that, given the distance, Real Madrid players could not have heard the exchange reported.
