At the start of the winter window, Benfica have resumed negotiations with Al Nassr over Wesley, according to Glorioso 1904.

They have held fresh meetings with Al Nassr to advance the deal. The Brazilian winger fits the profile José Mourinho wants in his squad.

Recent indications suggest the move would be a permanent transfer. Benfica are seeking to complete the signing, framed as a direct request from Mourinho.

Al Nassr are willing to sell for around 15 million euros, below what they paid Corinthians in 2024.

The transfer has gathered pace after Jorge Jesus said following Al Nassr’s most recent match that Wesley is among the foreign players whose exits have been considered in recent days.

This season, Wesley has played 16 games for Al Nassr, seven in the Saudi League, five in the AFC Champions League Two, two in the Super Cup and two in the King’s Cup. Across 964 minutes he has scored four goals and produced one assist. He is valued at five million euros.
