Benfica ‘to consider’ Ryan Flamingo, PSV defender could cost around €20m | OneFootball

Benfica have been linked with PSV centre-back Ryan Flamingo.

Eindhovens Dagblad reports that PSV are open to a deal in the region of €20 million, potentially allowing an exit for a player who has been important to their recent run.

Flamingo featured in both of the club’s last two title-winning seasons. He played 49 matches in 2024/25 as a regular starter, then finished the next campaign with 42 appearances after losing some ground in the pecking order.

Valued at around €14 million, the defender adds to a list of options that has included Harwood-Bellis and Tosin Adarabioyo. Strengthening central defence remains a priority for Benfica this window.

That need has sharpened after Rui Costa said recently that Benfica are close to securing a centre-back, and he promised an arrival would come soon.
