Benfica are refusing to drop their 20 million euro valuation of Gianluca Prestianni. Rui Costa is holding firm as Trabzonspor talks enter a delicate phase and the deal risks collapse.

Sabah reports that the impasse has already pushed the club from Türkiye to explore alternatives. Benfica will only negotiate the Argentina international's sale for a fee in that range.

Even the positive ties between the clubs, strengthened by Sidny Lopes Cabral's recent move, have not shifted Benfica's stance. Trabzonspor's opening bid was well below the asking price, then rose to 18 million euros, which still falls short.

With progress stalling, Trabzonspor have begun assessing other attacking options. Dario Osorio, a 22-year-old Chile international at Midtjylland since 2023, is among the names gaining traction.

The Prestianni file is not closed, but the gap between Benfica's demands and what Trabzonspor are prepared to pay continues to block an agreement.
