There is no agreement and accounts of the negotiations remain inconsistent, with no clear breakthrough reported.

The report adds that agent Diogo Silva said he became aware of a January offer from Benfica which Corinthians rejected, though club sources denied that when contacted.

This season André, valued at €16 million, has played 17 competitive matches for Corinthians. His tally is nine in the Brasileirão, three in the Copa do Brasil, three in the Brasileiro sub-20 and two in the Paulista sub-20, with three goals in 677 minutes. He wears number 49.
