After a difficult loan at OM last season, Benjamin Pavard has unexpectedly remained at Inter this summer and is taking his chance.
According to L'Équipe, the 30-year-old saw his option to buy left untouched after an underwhelming stint, yet despite late-window interest from Benfica, Galatasaray, Côme and Porto, the France international, capped 55 times with five goals, quickly made clear he wanted to stay.
His first Inter spell from 2023 to 2025 brought two trophies, one Scudetto and one Supercoppa d'Italia, along with a runners-up finish in the Champions League after a 0-5 defeat to PSG on 31 May 2025.
That chapter ended sourly when an ankle injury forced him to leave the United States and miss the remainder of the Club World Cup in June 2025, Cristian Chivu’s first competition.
Now he remains at Inter, aiming to rebuild his place in the squad.
