RB Leipzig's sought-after striker Benjamin Sesko insisted that he is "focused" on the conclusion of the campaign, while also leaving the door ajar to a summer exit.
"It's open. Anything can happen," he warned.
Sesko has been a centre-forward in demand for years. Arsenal were on the brink of signing the towering Slovenia international last summer only to see their long-term target sign a new contract.
The 21-year-old's deal extends to 2029 but is said to include a release clause which operates on a sliding scale. Sesko will reportedly be available this summer for a sum in the region of €80m (£66m), although RB Leipzig could be persuaded to accept a lower offer.
There are no shortage of suitors for a player who boasts 21 goals across all competitions. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been credited with interest in Sesko, who is half a decade younger than Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres, another leading striker target for Premier League sides.
"Right now, I'm 100% focused on RB Leipzig," Sesko told Sky Sport Germany this week. "Then we'll see what happens. It's open, anything can happen."
"I'm having a better season than last year," Sesko added after enjoying the first 20-goal campaign of his career. "That's very important to me. I can do a lot of things better, I have a lot to learn, I have to improve on small things. Then I'll score significantly more goals."
RB still have two more league fixtures to navigate and are locked in a competitive race to finish in the Bundesliga's top four which brings the riches of Champions League qualification.
"There's no pressure this season," the prolific forward claimed. "It was a constant up and down. Hopefully we can get the most out of the two games, and then we have to hope that the other teams drop points."
