Nuno Tavares is edging closer to leaving Lazio, with Beşiktaş emerging once again as the most concrete destination for the Portuguese defender.
After weeks of little progress, talks between the clubs have accelerated in recent hours and optimism is growing on all sides, as per LaLazioSiamoNoi.
Negotiations are now focused on finalising the structure of the deal, which is expected to be based on a paid loan worth around €1m, accompanied by an obligation to buy set at €9m.

The Turkish club had already shown interest earlier in the window, but discussions temporarily stalled as Lazio assessed their options.
That impasse now appears close to being resolved, with both sides working to iron out the remaining details. Confidence surrounding the operation has also been echoed publicly by Beşiktaş’ president, underlining the growing belief that an agreement is within reach.

From Lazio’s perspective, the potential sale of Nuno Tavares would free up space in the squad and generate funds to reinvest elsewhere, while Beşiktaş see the Portuguese wing-back as a strong addition capable of making an immediate impact.
If no unexpected issues arise, Tavares’ move to Beşiktaş could be completed in the coming days, bringing his time with Lazio to a close.
