Besiktas submit official proposal for Agustín Rossi | OneFootball

Besiktas have submitted an official proposal to sign Agustín Rossi from Flamengo and are awaiting a response, according to Coluna Do Fla.

The club from Türkiye are also assessing other options in the market as they plan for the upcoming window, which is not yet open.

Rossi, 30, is experiencing one of his toughest spells since joining in 2023, having played decisive parts in defeats to Vitória in the Copa do Brasil and Palmeiras in the Brasileirão.

Head coach Leonardo Jardim has maintained full confidence in the Argentine and accepted responsibility for individual errors after the Palmeiras match. He added that there is no need for major strategic changes in goalkeeping, viewing it as a momentary issue that must be corrected quickly because the team need a keeper at his best.

With Rossi available, Flamengo face Coritiba on Saturday in the 18th round of the Brasileirão. Kick-off is at 16:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro.
