Besiktas ‘to submit’ offer for Flamengo goalkeeper Rossi | OneFootball

Besiktas of Türkiye are considering a move for Flamengo goalkeeper Rossi in the next transfer window. According to Orta Çizgi, the club plan to submit an offer after recent errors drew criticism from sections of the Flamengo fanbase.

The report puts his market value at 10 million euros, with an initial bid expected to be around seven million euros.

Rossi, 30, has endured one of his toughest spells since joining in 2023, featuring decisively in defeats to Vitória in the Copa do Brasil and Palmeiras in the Brasileirão.

He was left on the bench for Andrew on Tuesday 26. Head coach Leonardo Jardim said the call to start Andrew was made after the Athletico-PR game and had already been set before the last three matches.

Rossi is expected to return to the XI on Saturday 30 when Flamengo face Coritiba in the 18th round. The line-up will only be confirmed an hour before kick-off, with the match set for 16:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã.
