Beşiktaş host Trabzonspor in the Süper Lig on Saturday, 9 May 2026 in İstanbul, with third facing fourth and European qualification very much in play.
Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor drew 3-3 in December, and both average 1.8 goals per game this season, pointing to an attacking tilt between two top-four rivals.
Kara Kartal arrive with two wins from their last five in all competitions, while Trabzonspor have drawn three of their past four league matches and edged Samsunspor on penalties in the Türkiye Kupası.
Kara Kartal are without Milot Rashica and Kartal Yılmaz through injury. For Trabzonspor, Edin Višća, Stefan Savić, Okay Yokuşlu and Arsenii Batagov are injured, with Mustafa Eskihellaç and Wagner Pina suspended, reducing defensive options for the visitors.
Trabzonspor's route to goal could again be deliveries to Paul Onuachu, the league's leading scorer on 22, with the visitors producing 20 headed goals and a 26.19% cross accuracy from open play. Kara Kartal, who average 55% possession with 83.29% pass accuracy, may look to control midfield through creators like Orkun Kökçü, who has seven goals and seven assists, and Václav Černý, who leads them with eight assists.
A home win would lift Kara Kartal to 62 points and could tighten their grip on the Conference League pathway. An away victory would move Trabzonspor to 69 points and further strengthen their third-place hold and Europa League qualification.
