Saturday looks like a cracker in the Premier League, with Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City all in action. Six games take place in total with key clashes at both ends of the table. Below you can find today’s football tips for Saturday that have been picked out by one of our best betting minds, Anthony Eadson.
It may seem like an obvious selection when it comes to football tips, but I’m putting up Alexander Isak to score against a side that has accrued just six Premier League points this season. However, at 10/11, this looks a price well worth taking. It’s worth noting that other firms are considerably shorter, with William Hill going 1/2 and BetVictor just 2/5.
Bet365 is the firm that has the best price on the Swedish international scoring on Saturday. Before the defeat against Bournemouth last week, Isak had scored in eight consecutive league matches and has 15 league goals in total this term. He’s scored 13 goals in just 12 Premier League appearances against promoted sides, netting a hat-trick against Ipswich just before Christmas.
Gabriel averages 0.24 goals per 90 minutes for Arsenal this season and has scored in five of his 24 appearances. The Brazilian’s last eight top-flight goals have all arrived vis his head, and with this in mind, 17/2 for him to score via his swede against a side 17th in the table looks a great price.
No player has been shown more cards in the Premier League this season than Ashley Young. The 39-year-old is currently on a streak of 13 consecutive matches in which he has given away
at least one foul. Young has been carded in four of his nine league starts and could be exposed against Kaoru Mitoma and Joao Pedro.
Nottingham Forest have scored at least two goals in each of their last four Premier League away games. Only Mohamed Salah (11) and Alexander Isak (8) have scored more Premier League away goals than Chris Wood (7). Both sides are in great form, with Bournemouth unbeaten in their last 11 games and Nottingham Forest going nine games without loss, leading us to think this could be a stalemate.
The match result looks a little tricky to predict. Instead, I’ve opted for a player-prop bet involving Kevin De Bruyne, who often loves playing against Chelsea.
De Bruyne has provided four assists in his last three top-flight games, including two against Ipswich last time out. The Belgian also has five Premier League goals against former side Chelsea, only netting more against Arsenal in the competition (8) and can round off our football betting tips on Saturday with a winner.
