Soccer was the main attraction of the evening at the Home of Mexicans, but long before the referee blew the opening whistle for Mexico vs South Korea, Estadio Guadalajara was already immersed in a true World Cup celebration.
Several hours before kickoff, fans began gathering around the venue to enjoy an experience that combined chants, cultural exchange, and the excitement of being part of a FIFA World Cup.
One of the liveliest areas was the stadium’s main plaza, where, among photographs, flags, and families hoping to preserve a memory that would last a lifetime, the traditional chant of “¡Dale, Dale, Dale Rebaño!” could be heard.
Music also played an important role throughout the day, as mariachis provided a distinctly Mexican touch to the occasion while supporters continued the festivities.
However, the most emotional moment of the afternoon arrived just minutes before kickoff, when the Mexican National Anthem began to play. Fans created an atmosphere that was truly deafening inside Estadio Guadalajara.
Following a memorable evening capped by a 1-0 victory, the Mexican National Team will now turn its attention to its next challenge on June 24 at Estadio Ciudad de México, where El Tri will face Czechia.
