Beukema says goodbye to Bologna: ‘One of the most beautiful periods of my life’ | OneFootball

Following his move to Napoli, Sam Beukema bid farewell to everyone at Bologna with a lengthy, emotional message on Instagram. The Deventer native was presented as a new Gli Azzurri player on Sunday evening.

Beukema began: “Dear Rossoblù, before I begin a new chapter in my career, I want to address you. It’s not easy to leave you behind, but I believe this is the right time to take a step that will allow me to grow, both personally and personally. I want to thank Bologna for allowing me to take this step.”

The time in Emilia-Romagna has been massive for the defender. He continued: “These two years have been one of the best periods, not only of my career, but also of my life. I especially want to thank the fans. Your support always encouraged me to give my best.”
