A weekend to remember for the boys from the BFC Senza Barriere project, who will be taking part in an international tournament for the very first time. Today, the Level 2 team is competing in the “Champions #Football 2026”, hosted at the Serbian Football Federation Sports Centre in Stara Pazova, near Belgrade.
The tournament features 16 teams from six countries: Serbia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Italy. Bologna is the only Italian club represented at the event.
Following the opening ceremony, the teams will be in action throughout the morning for their first set of matches. The afternoon will be a time of sharing, inclusion, and social interaction, the core values behind the entire event.
For some of the Rossoblù players, this is their second international journey after taking part in the second Erasmus+ EU project “Determined” in Malta in 2022, a programme that continues to highlight the group’s sporting and personal growth.
Meanwhile, the Level 3 team is also in action at the “Castellarano Special Cup International”, just outside the province of Reggio Emilia, further reinforcing the ongoing and wide-ranging commitment of the BFC Senza Barriere project to promoting sport, inclusion, and participation.
