Bid In For Sunderland Star Wanted By West Ham But ‘Expected To Be Turned Down’ | OneFootball

Premier League new boys Hull City have gone in with an offer for West Ham United target Wilson Isidor, but it is expected to be turned down by Sunderland.

Isidor has become a striker in demand this summer, with Sunderland prepared to let him move on for the right price.

West Ham have been showing interest in snapping him up to spearhead their push for promotion back to the Premier League.

It is Premier League new boys Hull City who have made a firm move for Isidor now though by sending in a bid to Sunderland.

According to Italian journalist Luca Bendoni, Hull have made an offer in the region of £10m plus add-ons for Isidor.

The proposal is ‘expected to be turned down’, but Hull will use it as a basis for talks and continue their efforts to agree a fee for Isidor.

While Sunderland will cash in on the striker, they would want to make sure they have a replacement for him in through the door to not be left short in attack.

Isidor has settled well at the Stadium of Light and Regis Le Bris said last season that he has fully connected with the club’s fans.

Joining Hull City would keep Isidor in the Premier League, albeit at a club that have been widely tipped to struggle in the new season.

Heading to West Ham though would mean dropping back down to the Championship and it is unclear how keen Isidor is on doing that.

Isidor caught the eye for Sunderland in the Championship and one former Black Cat praised him for showing character and confidence on the pitch.

It now remains to be seen if Hull’s approach is followed by West Ham making a firm offer and a pitch to take the striker to the London Stadium.

Sunderland have already let one attacker go this summer in the shape of Eliezer Mayenda.
