Lyon trained in Décines on Monday morning before flying to Istanbul for Tuesday’s Champions League play-off first leg at Fenerbahçe, at the Sükrü Saracoglu Stadium. According to Le Progres, newcomers Mads Bidstrup, Felix Bacher and Zachary Athekame are in contention, while Pavel Sulc and Khalis Merah remain out.

Since Paulo Fonseca took charge, OL have stuck to the same routine, choosing to train at their base rather than on site to use full equipment.

23 players plus the goalkeepers trained, and aside from Sulc and Merah, everyone is available. Merah is recovering from an ankle sprain sustained on 30 June.

OL depart Lyon-Saint-Exupéry at 15:00 for a three-hour flight, arriving around 19:00 local time, 18:00 in France. The pre-match press conference is set for 20:30 local, 19:30 in France, with Fonseca and Moussa Niakhaté.
