Galatasaray are keen on signing West Ham United striker Michail Antonio during the January transfer window.
According to Turkish outlet Takvim, the reigning Super Lig champions are looking for a new forward and have identified the 34-year-old as a potential target.
Galatasaray technical director Okan Buruk has Antonio on his shortlist of targets, but it remains unclear if they move for him.
The 34-year-old has struggled for form this season, registering just one goal and an assist in nine league appearances. His lack of pace and declining physicality have made him a liability for the Hammers.
The Hammers have already made a mistake by signing Niclas Fullkrug, who is also injury-prone and nearing the end of his career.
They should target younger forwards in the transfer market. Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez could be available in the January transfer window if manager Arne Slot continues to snub him.
The Uruguayan has all the tools in his repertoire to be one of the top strikers of his generation. He can fulfil that promise with the Hammers.
West Ham could spring a surprise with an early move for Lille hotshot Jonathan David, whose contract expires in 2025.
They can sign him for a decent fee in January or place themselves at the front of the queue to take him for free next summer.
Another option would be to return for former target Simon Banza. He took Portugal by storm last season with 23 goals and five assists in 41 appearances.
He has scored six goals in ten outings for Trabzonspor this term. The 28-year-old is one of the most underrated strikers in Europe, and West Ham must consider pouncing in January.
