Southampton supporters are furious at Adam Armstrong's imminent move to Wolves.
This article is part of Football League World's 'Terrace Talk' series, which provides personal opinions from our FLW Fan Pundits regarding the latest breaking news, teams, players, managers, potential signings and more…
Southampton striker Adam Armstrong is set to join Premier League strugglers Wolves before the transfer window closes at 7pm on Monday.
Armstrong has scored 11 goals in 29 Championship appearances this season, while the Saints are languishing in 14th despite their aspirations of an immediate Premier League return.
Tonda Eckert's men defeated Stoke City 2-0 on Saturday, but remain seven points adrift of the play-off places.
Southampton's chances of beating clubs such as Wrexham to a top-six spot will be further damaged when the prolific Armstrong completes his transfer to Wolves.

The Saints' first game without Armstrong arrives this Saturday when they host Watford, who are searching for a new manager following the exit of Javi Gracia.
Southampton are set to receive £7million for Armstrong, and a further £2m in potential add-ons.
Football League World asked our Saints fan pundit, Martin Sanders, if he was disappointed that his club couldn't receive a greater transfer fee for one of the Championship's best strikers.
Sanders told FLW: "I'm very, very disappointed. He's our top goalscorer, he's proven at that level. I didn't think for one minute that when the window opened, he'd be one of the players leaving. He signed a new contract at the start of last season.
"He's one player that will score goals at this level. I'm just a bit gutted because we're not going to bring anyone better in. If we're going to let him go, just bring someone in that's as adequate to score the goals, because you're risking any chance of play-offs.
"Obviously, the fans are in meltdown at the moment, but there could be someone else lined up, we don't know. They're talking about this Canadian guy (Cyle Larin). I did a transfer show, we were talking about him. But he's really unproven, he's not scored a lot of goals. It's a gamble.
"He clearly wanted to get out because his agent has been so busy during the window. But I think all Saints fans are happy for him to go if you bring the right replacement in. But we're not bringing the right replacement in, by the looks of it. It is really worrying."

Southampton have been far too inconsistent in the Championship this term to seriously trouble the play-off places, having yielded 10 wins, 10 draws, and 10 defeats from 30 league outings.
However, with Armstrong, who has notched 11 goals and four assists in the second tier this season, Eckert's men would have believed that anything was possible.
The former Blackburn Rovers man has proven himself as one of the best strikers in the Championship in recent seasons, and scored 24 goals when the Saints won promotion from the second tier at the end of a successful 2023/24 campaign.
