Billiards: FC Porto beat Clube Fenianos 6-2 to seal top spot

FC Porto’s three-cushion billiards team went to Clube Fenianos and won 2-6 in a Matchday 17 fixture of the Regional Championship – North Zone, thereby securing first place with four rounds still left to play.

The partial scores in the Invicta derby win were as follows: António Azevedo-Rui Manuel Costa (27-40), Cândido Sampaio-Luís Pinto (24-36), Pereira Guedes-Gonçalo Santos (4-40) and Vítor Leite-António Lameirão (21-20). The Dragons, already qualified for the national Final 8, remain top of the table with 53 points, eight more than Leça FC (45) and nine more than Leixões SC (44).
