WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from the Blues this evening.
Lee joins Birmingham City after spending four seasons with Brighton & Hove Albion. The Blues have paid an undisclosed fee to secure the player’s services.
The 30-year-old started her career with Seoul City before joining Gyeongju Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power. In 2019, Lee moved to England where she joined Manchester City. The forward struggled for minutes with The Cityzens and was loaned out to Brighton & Hove Albion for the 2020/2021 season before joining the Sussex club on a permanent basis the following summer.
On the international stage, Lee has been capped by South Korea on 90 occasions while she has scored 27 goals for her country.
After joining Birmingham City, Lee said “I’m really excited. This journey is new for me and I can’t wait to get started.
“I’ve worked with Amy [Merricks] at Brighton and I’m really happy to work with her again. I can’t wait to start playing for Birmingham City.”
Lee is Birmingham City’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window. The player could make her debut in Sunday’s Barclays Women’s Championship fixture at Bristol City.
