WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from Blues this evening.
Birmingham City have reportedly paid an undisclosed fee to secure the player’s services on a permanent basis.
The 28-year-old joins Blues following a three-year spell with FC Fleury 91 in which she scored 25 goals in 74 games in all competitions. Louis was snapped up by Les Essonniennes after building an impressive goalscoring record with former club Grand Paris Seine Ouest 92 Issy.
On the international stage, Louis has been equally as prolific in-front of the opposition goal. She has scored 33 goals in 26 appearances for the Haitian national team.
After joining Birmingham City, Louis said “I’m really looking forward to discovering this league because it’s all new to me. I’ve seen the players play before, but I’m happy and I’m very excited to get started.
“I’m happy with the project. I saw that they have a good project, very ambitious. I see myself completely in this project, to learn and to bring everything I have too.”
Louis could make her Birmingham City debut against Bristol City on the opening day of the new Barclays WSL2 season.
