Birmingham City right-back Marcel Oakley could return to Scotland for a second loan of the campaign, as per a Patreon report from journalist Alan Nixon.
The 20-year-old spent the first half of the season on a temporary deal with Scottish Championship club Arbroath, appearing 16 times in the league and registering three assists in that time.
Now, Queen’s Park, who are top of the Scottish Championship, are eager to take Oakley on loan for the second half of the campaign.
The report claims that the Birmingham defender is keen to return north of the border to play regular football once more, after what was a productive loan stint with Arbroath earlier in the 22/23 season.

Oakley appeared twice in the Championship for the Blues last time out and is still on the fringes of things from a first-team perspective.
The verdict
This would be another positive move for the 20-year-old who certainly impressed during his time with Arbroath, especially considering that he is still a little way off first-team football with the Blues.
A pacey, direct runner who can cause havoc for defences in an attacking capacity, he is also a resilient and intelligent defender who is dominant in his one-on-one battles.
A move to Queen’s Park represents an opportunity to be part of a team gunning for promotion to Scotland’s top-flight which will provide him with excellent experience.
