The club said in a statement that El Chadaille Bitshiabu has joined Galatasaray on loan. The deal includes a purchase option reportedly worth around €25-30 million.
The 21-year-old centre-back heads to Türkiye after arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in summer 2023 for a reported €15 million base fee.

A knee injury at the start of 2023/24 limited him to just six Bundesliga appearances.
He featured more prominently the following season, playing 21 league games and starting 13.
In 2025/26 he made 11 Bundesliga appearances, starting eight, and has opted for a temporary switch in search of more regular playing time.
