A head-turning statistic, highlighting the respective endeavours of members of the first-team ranks at La Liga heavyweights Barcelona and Real Madrid, has come to the fore online.
Barca, of course, were back in action on Sunday night, making the trip to The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán for a La Liga meeting with Sevilla.
When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of a 4-1 result.
Defender Eric García was responsible for rounding out the evening’s goalscoring, continuing what has been a fine recent spell of individual form.
And it is precisely such efforts which have since given rise to the somewhat bizarre statistic alluded to above.
Eric, for his part, has now found the net three times since the turn of the year.
This is the same number of goals as managed by Real Madrid talisman and Ballon d’Or runner-up Vinícius Jr. across the same stretch.
