Wrexham and Britol City have joined Blackburn Rovers in the race for a former Leeds United ace now in Poland...
A number of Championship clubs will be chasing the same transfer targets this summer, which is the case for Blackburn Rovers, Wrexham, and Bristol City.
The Championship is an unforgiving league in which you cannot sit still by being passive in the market, with proactive teams often rewarded for getting ahead of others.
In a World Cup year, the summer window can often be slow to get going in. However, there are clubs already eyeing deals before then. In fact, Blackburn Rovers are set to be joined by Wrexham and Bristol City in lining up a move for the same player.
Championship experience is what they will all want to add into the mix, knowing they can kick on with more proven quality at this level. That's if they can get it for a reasonable price this summer.

It's already been claimed by Alan Nixon that Blackburn are keen on former Leeds United man Sam Greenwood. The versatile attacking player can play as an attacking midfielder, out wide, or in more of a box-to-box role.
Having played as a striker for Arsenal and Sunderland in his youth, the 24-year-old left Leeds permanently last summer for Polish side
Pogon Szczecin in a £3.4 million deal. He was previously on loan with Preston North End and Middlesbrough in the Championship - both of which were indifferent stints.
Former Hull City ace Kamil Grosicki is the captain of the side, with Greenwood scoring three and assisting twice for the Ekstraklasa side. However, he has been an unused substitute in the last three matchdays of the campaign.
Now, as per Goal Poland, it's reported that a number of EFL clubs are keen on Greenwood's services, despite the fact he has perhaps not lived upto the billing at Pogon.
Bristol City and Wrexham are claimed to be eyeing the 24-year-old playmaker ahead of their summer transfer business starting, and they look likely to rival Blackburn - who have already into the Polish market recently by acquiring Ryōya Morishita from Legia Warsaw last summer.
Two of the three interested parties in Greenwood do not currently have a head coach in place, but transfer plans at Ashton Gate and Ewood Park are seemingly ongoing as well as their search for the successors of Gerhard Struber and Michael O'Neill.

Greenwood was utilised in a variety of different roles for both Preston North End and Middlesbrough, but he is now entering his prime years and should be able to showcase his talent more consistently.
He's a capable set-piece taker and his shooting from range is also to be admired, as shown in his one and only goal for Leeds during a Premier League game against Bournemouth.
His playmaking ought to be better when factoring in the areas of the pitch he operates in, but Greenwood could benefit from a return to English football with more quality around him this summer.
