Blogging member readmitted to Corinthians as council also clears two ex-directors | OneFootball

Paulo Cezar Andrade Prado, known for the Blog do Paulinho, has been readmitted to Corinthians’ membership by the club’s Deliberative Council on Monday.

Before the meeting at Parque São Jorge, he alleged he was assaulted at the social club gate by members of Gaviões da Fiel, naming Alê Domenico and requesting CCTV footage, according to Meu Timao. The group later confirmed the episode and characterised it as a brief misunderstanding resolved without consequences.

The motion passed with 69 votes in favour, 7 against and 5 abstentions. The session was chaired by Romeu Tuma Júnior, president of the council.

In the group’s account, tensions stemmed from repeated posts about their president and from what they considered a mocking stance on arrival, and the disagreement was quickly controlled.

Later that evening the council also absolved Claudinei Alves and Valmir Costa, former directors and prominent figures in the youth set-up during ex-president Augusto Melo’s tenure. They had been investigated over the 31 May last year invasion of Parque São Jorge, which aimed to return Augusto, then under precautionary suspension, to office.

Both had previously been expelled from the membership, but in early July council president Romeu Tuma Júnior granted a suspensive effect to that decision.
