Daniel Farke has eased the pressure at Leeds United, while Bo Svensson has signalled he is open to a mid-season job.
Six defeats in seven, capped by a 3-2 loss to Man City, left Farke’s position in doubt. A stronger second half in that match preceded a 3-1 win over Chelsea and a draw with Liverpool, both at Elland Road.
Leeds then drew 1-1 at Brentford. Five points from three games have steadied Farke’s footing and talk of a replacement, with Svensson among names considered during the wobble, has cooled.
“I’ve had some opportunities, but nothing that has led to a contract yet. I currently have nothing concrete.” He told Bold.
“My next job should be at a club where we are a good fit. Things should be agreed in advance.”
“I don’t see any problem in taking on a job midway through a season. I’ve tried that before.”
For now, a move for Svensson is not on the cards at Elland Road. That is especially the case if Farke stays unbeaten against Palace and Sunderland.
