Boca cast doubt on Claudio Úbeda’s future with decision still undecided

Marcelo Delgado says Claudio Úbeda’s future at Boca remains undecided, with a meeting with the coach yet to take place.

According to LaNumer12.com.ar, the Football Council’s link between hierarchy and squad addressed rumours that Claudio Úbeda’s continuity had already been settled.

Delgado attended the Trofeo de Campeones final at Florencio Sola in Banfield, where Vélez Sarsfield, Torneo Apertura champions, faced Boca, Torneo Clausura 2025 winners.

He said the club are still analysing matters and that nothing is defined, adding that they still need to meet.

He was the only Football Council member there and was asked about the coach’s future. The next hours or days will be key to knowing whether Boca keep the staff that stayed on after the death of Miguel Ángel Russo.
