Boca have kept Claudio Úbeda as head coach to start pre-season, with his backroom team unchanged.
According to LaNumer12.com.ar, Juan Román Riquelme and Marcelo Delgado confirmed the continuity of the group that arrived with Miguel Ángel Russo. Úbeda has a deal through mid 2026 and will lead the Torneo Apertura, Copa Argentina and the first half of the Copa Libertadores.
His stay follows qualification for the continent’s main competition, secured by finishing second in the Annual Table and earning a place in the group stage.
The Superclásico victory also helped cement his position. The defeat to Racing at La Bombonera and the Clausura exit faded in importance, despite supporter anger over the controversial Zeballos substitution.
Plans to add a new assistant have been set aside for now. The staff were told the existing structure will remain and no one will be imposed.
Juvenal Rodríguez stays as the only assistant coach, with fitness coaches Adrián Gerónimo and Cristian Aquino, while Cristian Muñoz continues as goalkeeping coach.
