Much has been said about Leandro Paredes’ highly-anticipated return to Boca Juniors.

The Roma midfielder is supposedly eyeing a move back to Argentina once his contract with the Giallorossi expires next year.

In recent days, reports from Argentina claimed Paredes is on his way out of Roma, with the player’s father confirming the speculations via an Instagram story.

Earlier today, Argentina’s new coach and former Roma player, Fernando Gago, addressed the rumors in his press conference.

“Paredes? I have a duty to respect the players who are here, so we will only take stock at the end of this season,” he said.
