Boca Juniors president Juan Roman Riquelme met with Leandro Paredes earlier today.

The Argentine midfielder is a long-time target for Boca Juniors who could finally sign him in this transfer window.

The two of them met in Miami where Boca Juniors are currently preparing for the Club World Cup.

“We talk often,” Riquelme told TyCSports. “The truth is I’m a big fan of his. He knows we’re anxious to have him back and the door is always open to him.”

“I’m even more excited than in January. I think there is the possibility of counting on him and I hope we will have him back with us after the Club World Cup.”

“His return would make us very happy,” added Riquelme.
