Boca have lodged a bid with Fortaleza to sign Adam Bareiro, with River retaining 50 percent of his rights, according to LaNumer12.com.ar.

Sent yesterday by the board led by Juan Román Riquelme, the proposal is around three million dollars and seeks the forward’s full registration.

Bareiro is currently at the Brazilian club. Before moving there, River had loaned him to Al-Rayyan in Qatar for one year.

In mid 2025 he completed a transfer to Brazilian football for one point eight million dollars for 50 percent, leaving River with the remaining share.

River had earlier paid five million dollars to buy his rights from San Lorenzo. Boca had pursued him before he joined the team then coached by Martín Demichelis, but San Lorenzo chose River’s offer.
