Boca player ratings in the draw against Platense

A draw with a bitter taste for Boca at home. Úbeda's team did not play a good match, drawing 0-0 against Platense at home and will face the tough Racing next at La Bombonera.

Agustín Marchesín (4)

Did not suffer from the visitor's attacks but left some doubts in the small area exits.

Juan Barinaga (3)

Coming from a negative streak, with very difficult matches defensively and very little offensive projection. Today he was replaced by Weigandt again.

Lautaro Di Lollo (5)

Solid defensively, hardly suffered from the Calamar's attacks. Wasn't very precise with the ball, often clearing from the back.

Ayrton Costa (5)

Also didn't suffer like his defensive partner, but his far exits led to losing some tricky balls in midfield.

Lautaro Blanco (4)

Williams Alarcón (5)

Couldn't find his place in the early minutes of the match, although he settled in the second half and became the connector between the midfield and the Xeneizes forwards.

Ángel Romero (4)

Debut as a starter for the Paraguayan as a right winger, with some attempts but difficulties in resolving in the best way.

Miguel Merentiel (3)

The Beast started strong with an early advance but faded as the minutes passed. He was replaced by Cavani in the second half.

Lucas Janson (4)

Had a good first half holding some offensive balls, but wasted the clearest chance for the Xeneize in front of the goal by taking too long to finish against the goalkeeper.

The substitutions aimed to refresh the team and although they succeeded, they weren't enough to turn the game around. The youngsters showed initiative, Chelo had ups and downs, and the Uruguayan returned after injury but didn't have much involvement other than the missed one-on-one that was offside.

Claudio Úbeda (3)

Returned to the 4-3-3 formation that has become customary this year but with the inclusion of Janson, Ángel, and Alarcón. His team didn't work, drawing against Platense at home and leaving more doubts ahead of the tough match against the Academia next weekend.
