Boca ratings as Leonel Flores hits late brace in 3-0 win over Unión | OneFootball

Boca swept aside Unión de Santa Fe 3-0 at La Bombonera to start matchday 11 of the Torneo Clausura. According to LaNumer12.com.ar, they are the only side among the 30 in Primera still fighting on three fronts.

The hosts dominated early and led when Alan Velasco won a right-side free-kick, Leandro Paredes swung it in and Lautaro Di Lollo headed home for 1-0.

Despite control, the gap stayed narrow until 83 minutes. Substitute Leonel Flores then struck twice, both finishes cutting in from the left and drilled right-footed to the far post. Leandro Lozano delivered the assist for the second.

Lozano excelled at both ends. Lautaro Blanco operated inside to aid build-up, and Santiago Ascacibar’s tireless shift included shrugging off a heavy stamp from Tarragona. Di Lollo shook off an ankle knock to finish.

Keeper Leandro Brey steadied matters after the Racing error, claiming crosses and blocking a near-post effort from Tarragona. Paredes, booked early, dictated with raking passes and that telling delivery for the opener.

From the bench, Enner Valencia added thrust, laying the ball off for Flores and later drawing a save from Mansilla. Carlos Palacios linked neatly, while Sebastián Villa and Miguel Merentiel had quieter nights. Rodolfo Arruabarrena’s plan and changes landed perfectly.
