Bochum commit to Zeidler despite last-place status | OneFootball

With no wins, one draw, and five losses through six Bundesliga match-days, VfL Bochum enter the second international break of the 2024/25 campaign at the bottom of the Bundesliga table. Despite this, per club sporting director Marc Lettau, there will be no discussion about newly installed trainer Peter Zeidler. Bochum - still on the hook for paying previous trainer Thomas Letsch - have prepared a busy international break for their current head-coach.

Bochum are due in the cathedral city on Thursday for a high profile public test fixture against freshly demoted 2. Bundesliga side 1. FC Köln. “I won't be having the discussion about the coach today," VfL sporting director Marc Lettau told Sky Germany after Saturday's loss, "Also not tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. [A change will come] if I feel we're not performing as a collective and the team is totally failing."
