Francesco Pio Esposito produced an impressive performance in last night’s Champions League clash between Bodo/Glimt and Inter Milan.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 20-year-old was the only shining light for the visitors.
Inter Milan suffered a dismal 3-1 defeat at the Aspmyra Stadion, casting doubt on their hopes of reaching the Round of 16.
Furthermore, the Nerazzurri lost captain Lautaro Martinez to a ‘serious’ injury, with El Toro leaving the pitch in the second half.
Therefore, Cristian Chivu will likely have to rely on Marcus Thuram to fill the void.

Francesco Pio Esposito drew Inter level after Sondre Fet broke the deadlock in the 20th minute.
In doing so, he became the youngest-ever Nerazzurri player to score in the Champions League knockout stages.
However, the youngster’s exploits were in vain as Bodo/Glimt netted two unanswered second-half goals to claim a huge win.
