Evan Ferguson’s future is still up in the air.
The Irish striker, currently recovering from an ankle injury, remains in Bologna’s sights.
The Emilian club is seeking an offensive reinforcement following Ciro Immobile’s decision to terminate his contract to move to Paris FC, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, interest in Ferguson remains strong.
For Roma, Ferguson’s possible departure would free up a spot in the attacking lineup, crowded after the arrivals of Malen and Robinio Vaz.
Bologna, for their part, is keeping other options alive, such as Lazio’s Noslin, for whom the Biancocelesti are asking for a €20 million buyout, and Cagliari’s Luvumbo.
The Rossoblu are also interested in Benjamin Dominguez, who, however, was blocked in Bologna by Italiano on the eve of the Celtic match. In the coming hours, it will be clear whether the Rossoblu’s interest will translate into a concrete offer capable of convincing Roma and sporting director Massara.
Bologna’s internal option of moving up to centre-forward Odgaard, currently a second striker but having developed into a No. 9, remains in the background.
