With the EFL season over and the Premier League near its finale, transfer talk surrounds Wolves, West Brom and Aston Villa.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, Wolves full back Jackson Tchatchoua, a £12.5m signing from Hellas Verona last summer, endured a difficult campaign and is set for a summer move following relegation. Bologna still hold strong interest. Jose Sa and Toti Gomes have offered differing hints about their futures.
Hwang Hee-chan was linked with Fulham last week and is expected to leave this summer. Brentford hold an interest in keeping him in the Premier League, with Lazio also monitoring.
Released goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith could yet finish with promotion. On loan at Middlesbrough, he was back-up as Boro were reinstated for the play-off final in the Spygate fallout, days after Albion released him. He has been linked with a return to Sheffield Wednesday after their relegation.
Spygate’s repercussions continue, and Albion fans have questioned whether any add-on in last summer’s sale of Tom Fellows to Southampton could be hit after Southampton were removed from the play-offs and failed in an appeal.
Japan international Hidemasa Morita has been linked with Villa, with Brighton and Porto also eyeing the Sporting CP midfielder, a free agent this summer. The 40-cap player has held talks with Leeds but is said to prefer a move elsewhere, with clubs in France, Germany and Italy enquiring.
