Bologna refuse to make discounts on Jhon Lucumi

One of Roma’s top targets for the summer is Bologna defender Jhon Lucumi.

As revealed by Sky Sport, Lucumi is the ideal player to strengthen Gasperini’s defense ahead of next season.

The veteran technician has asked the capital club to attempt pursuit of the Colombian centre-back who has one year on his contract with Bologna.

However, as things stand, Bologna refuse to make discounts on Lucumi and continue to ask for the same fee as his current release clause – 28 million euros.

It remains to be seen whether Roma will comply with this request, wait until the release clause’s expiry or change targets to strengthen their backline.
