With only a week away to go until the kick-off to Roma’s preseason, the Giallorossi are still waiting to complete a noteworthy transfer move.
As for the back line, in addition to Wesley, the Giallorossi are continuing to monitor the trail that leads to Jhon Lucumí, Bologna’s centre-back.
There are, however, two obstacles in the negotiation that would bring the ’98-born player to the capital.
As reported by Il Tempo, first is linked to the player’s clause of 28 million, which however will expire in a few days, on 10 July.
The second, however, concerns the Rossoblu squad: Vincenzo Italiano’s team, in fact, will most likely lose Sam Beukema who is close to moving to Napoli.
It is unlikely that the Felsinei will lose their two central defenders in a few days, therefore a complicated negotiation is to be expected to bring Lucumí to the Giallorossi.
