According to L'Équipe, Boluspor players in Türkiye’s second division have reportedly not been paid for several months.

In protest they stood still for the first minute, and Pendikspor did likewise, refusing to attack.

Despite the off-field issues, recent form has held up with four wins and two defeats in their last six matches.

On Saturday they suffered their first home defeat since three October. Trailing 2-0 to the leaders, a reply in the 90+1st minute changed nothing.

In the table, the Bolu club are eighth, three points off the first promotion play-off place. The squad includes Loïc Kouagba and Lucas Lima.
