Bonus clause to activate for Nürnberg if Jeltsch makes Germany debut | OneFootball

As reported by BILD, 1.FC Nürnberg could profit from a bonus clause agreed when Finn Jeltsch transferred to VfB Stuttgart in February 2025.

Accordingly, should the defender make his first appearance for the German national, a fee in the low six-figure range would be due.

Jeltsch himself is especially pleased about the opportunity to represent Germany having been called up by new head coach Jürgen Klopp.

"A huge dream is coming true. That it's happening so early, at just 20 years old, is a great honour," he said, speaking to SPORT1.

"I want to prove myself, I want to give it my all, and then we'll see. You don't realize how amazing it really is.

“Always watching it [the national team] on TV and then maybe getting minutes yourself – that's a really great feeling,” he added.

For VfB Stuttgart, a potential DFB debut would be further confirmation of his strong development since joining the club.

Having previously been linked with FC Bayern Munich, the Bavarians will likely be closely monitoring Jeltsch's progress with Germany.
