Bookmakers have mapped out a predicted 2026-27 Premier League table as Leeds United gear up for their second season back in the top flight. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the projection reflects the latest title and relegation odds, with seven weeks until the new season starts.
Leeds and Sunderland bucked the newly promoted trend last term, Leeds finishing 14th and eight points clear of danger, Sunderland taking seventh to reach the Europa League. Burnley went straight back down, relegated with rock-bottom Wolves and West Ham, whose drop was sealed on the final day as fourth-bottom Tottenham survived.
Championship winners Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-off winners Hull City now step up for 2026-27. Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe has warned how testing a second season can be.
Leeds also finished above Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, and were only two points behind Everton and Newcastle United. Forest boss Vitor Pereira has departed, with outgoing Palace head coach Oliver Glasner set to be appointed his successor.
At the top end, Arsenal are favourites for first at six to four, with Manchester City second favourites at seven to two and as short as nine to four with some firms. The projection then has Liverpool third at six to one, Manchester United fourth at thirteen to two, Chelsea fifth at eleven to one and Tottenham Hotspur sixth at twenty-eight to one.
