The Carabao Cup semi-final draw was made on Thursday night.
This followed the last quarter-final.
An entertaining but low quality match full of defensive blunders, seeing Tottenham attempt to throw away a game they were winning 3-0, but eventually winning 4-3 against Man U.
This followed a Wednesday night that saw Newcastle United, Arsenal and Liverpool progress.
Here is the full Carabao Cup semi-final draw and then how the bookies see the chances of Newcastle United lifting the trophy now, as well as their competitors.
Full Carabao Cup semi-final draw
Arsenal v Newcastle United
Tottenham v Liverpool
The first leg matches to be both played in North London, the second legs at St James’ Park and Anfield.
The general odds available from various bookies on which club will win the Carabao Cup this season:
15/8 Arsenal
9/4 Liverpool
5/1 Tottenham
6/1 Newcastle United
I’m quite happy to see United as the least fancied, takes a bit pressure off and also means any Newcastle fans who want a bet, get decent odds.
For the first leg at the Emirates, the bookies see this as:
1/2 An Arsenal win
7/2 The draw
6/1 A Newcastle win
Odds for the second leg will almost certainly not be on offer until after the first leg is played, as the result of that will help dictate how the bookies see that second leg going, the chances of the various outcomes happening.
