Bookmakers have issued a new predicted final 2026-27 Premier League table, making a fresh call on Leeds United. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the update lands six weeks before kick-off.

Leeds and Sunderland are preparing for their second season back in the top flight after avoiding the immediate drop that befell Burnley.

The Clarets, Wolves and West Ham are heading for the Championship, while last season’s champions Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-off winners Hull City are coming up.

Leeds ended their first campaign back in 14th, eight points clear of danger. Chairman Paraag Marathe has cautioned that year two can prove tougher.

Sunderland face the same challenge and will juggle Europa League commitments after a superb seventh-placed finish.

Last term Leeds finished two points behind Everton and Newcastle United, two ahead of Crystal Palace and three clear of Nottingham Forest. They were six above fourth-bottom Tottenham Hotspur, who survived on a dramatic final day.

At the top end, the bookmakers have Arsenal as 6-4 favourites, Manchester City as 7-2 second favourites, as short as 9-4 with some firms, then Liverpool at 6-1, Manchester United 13-2, Chelsea 10-1 and Aston Villa 33-1.
