Inter Milan’s hopes of bringing Ivan Perisic back to San Siro may receive a timely boost as developments unfold in the Netherlands.

The Nerazzurri remain keen on a return for the Croatian winger, even though PSV Eindhoven have so far resisted letting him leave during the January window.

That stance, however, could soon soften, with reports via FCInter1908.

According to Sky Sport, PSV are pushing hard to sign Alphadjo Cisse, a highly rated 2006-born talent owned by Verona and currently impressing on loan at Catanzaro in Serie B.

The Dutch club are reportedly very close to an agreement, a move that could alter the balance of their squad planning.

Cisse’s profile fits what PSV may soon require.

The young attacker can operate across the frontline and in multiple roles from midfield upwards, including as a wide forward.

His versatility makes him a credible internal solution should PSV decide to reshape their attacking options before the window closes.

For Inter, that situation is worth monitoring closely. The Nerazzurri have made it clear they would welcome Perisic back, valuing his experience, tactical flexibility and familiarity with the environment in Milan.

Until now, PSV’s refusal to part with the player has represented the main obstacle.

If Cisse does arrive in Eindhoven, the picture could change quickly. PSV would then have greater cover on the flanks, potentially opening the door to negotiations over Perisic.

While no green light has arrived yet, Inter remain attentive.

As the final days of the winter market approach, movements elsewhere could prove decisive. Inter are waiting, and PSV’s next step may finally unlock the situation.
