Borja Sainz spoke during the title celebrations. After the 1-0 victory over Santa Clara, the stage was set for a long afternoon and an even longer night, with FC Porto out in the streets celebrating the Primeira Liga triumph.

“This family deserves the best. We’ve been through very difficult things, since the start of the year we’ve suffered many injustices, but now we can celebrate for those who are no longer here. This group is incredible,” said Borja Sainz, in remarks quoted by the national press.
