Borussia Dortmund 3-0 Bochum: Physio goes viral after clattering into Anthony Losilla | OneFootball

A physio who ran on to treat VfL Bochum’s Anthony Losilla during Saturday’s Bundesliga clash against Borussia Dortmund has gone viral after inadvertently making the situation 10 times worse.

Dortmund were 3-0 up when Losilla required treatment.

Edin Terzic’s side were virtually home and dry by half-time thanks to a brace from the hugely-talented 17-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko and a penalty by Giovanni Reyna.

No further goals were scored after the interval, although a second-half incident involving a Bochum physio became the biggest talking point on social media.

Losilla was on the floor requiring treatment and on rushed a member of the medical staff.

However, the man in question ended up adding to Losilla’s pain by two-footing the side of his head after losing his balance on the slippery Signal Iduna Park pitch.

Poor Losilla thought he was about to be nursed back to full health but instead took a nasty whack to the side of the head.

The result means Borussia Dortmund climb to third in the Bundesliga table, three points behind league-leaders Bayern Munich and one behind Union Berlin, who have a game in hand.

Bochum, on the other hand, currently sit second to bottom in Germany’s top-flight.
